Thought you all might appreciate a few pics of my most recent little project on Custard - my 2.2 Sport in Dakar
I bought a secondhand chrome cover off Ebay, sent away to a company in Crewe for a rechrome, cost about £60, and last Sunday set about fitting.
I completely dismantled the third brake light, including both clear lenses and cleaned thoroughly; checked all LED's were working; added a tiny layer of sealant to keep the light unit water tight; refitted, and here are the results!
I have recently had the back bumper resprayed, added new BMW chrome tailpipes too.
Custard is in next week for a front bumper respray.
Style 42's replaced - more pics to follow if anybody interested
