Write Up Cheshire Car Show

Thanks to Z Victor1 we had a free ticket to the Cheshire Car Show at Capesthorne Hall last Sunday. The weather was not too promising when we left home in the drizzle but things improved as we travelled and we arrived in glorious sunshine. Needless to say the Z got mucky so it was roof down and out with the cleaning rags.

There were some nice cars on show but I only saw 3 other Z3's and we were parked up by 2 of them, both driven by very nice peeps who I pointed in the direction of this forum as they were not members.

That Thunderbird was mint and looked a treat in the sunshine. The Mrs said "oh I don't like that" as it drove in! There were a couple of tidy Aston Martins, a DB5 and a DB6 on show in the Cheshire Club area, there's money in Cheshire. The most impressive turnout was the Moggy 1000 club who must have had about 30 cars there including the odd pick-up and van in various states of repair. Her indoors is fancying a Morris Traveller now.
