Cheap Tyres!

When I purchased my Z3 last November the dealer had put on two new rear tyres (255/35/18). Nice I thought until I dropped her from 5th to 3rd to get passed a truck, traction control kicked in on the flat on a nice sunny day (17.5 C). Thought I'd broken something! On closer inspection the rear tyres are budget tyres by the name of Sunny @ circa £70 a boot! Absolute rubbish but sadly have loads of tread left on them. You get what you pay for.

@Andy McDonnell after a recommendation I have got some falkens 453's on and have not looked back.. They are imported from a certain euro website and my local tyre man fits them at £10 a corner including balancing.

How much were the Falkens Paul? If you don't mind me asking.

I have the predesessors the 452's all round and there great. £110 a corner @t-tony when I asked the guy I bought the car from.

The fronts on mine are still very good but the rears will probably see this year out at best. Best get sweet talking the gaffer !!

These Falken 453's are great tyres I'm on my 3rd set. from tyreleader.co.uk they are £68 for the rears and £62 for the fornt. The prices vary day to day. But they are on %50 offer and have been for the last two years.
