Charity Collection Total Update!

Hi all,

Just thought I would give a totaliser update, after another recent generous donation!

£1,325.00 direct through our Virgin Giving Page
£338.75 collected by TJ65 for the London Marathon on the 22nd April

Giving a total collected so far this year (including Gift Aid)

£1,663.75

Well done everyone, once TJ65 has completed the London Marathon, we will have hit our target for the year \/

as a recreation of a post i made in the main thread heres what the forum has bought thus far:

142 sets of adapted cutlery
83 hours of support from the MND connect and support line
6 weeks of MND research lab equiptment
206 information packs for MND sufferers
13 MND expert researchers for a day
10 days of respite care
6 sets of specialist PC equiptment
3 stairlifts

Not a total but for each individual item, not bad for a car forum and a keen runner

I managed to finally collect the rest of sponsor money last night and put the cheque in the post to MNDA this morning.
Thanks again to everyone for your kind words, support and encouragement during my training for London Marathon, as for the future my running calender for the year is slowly filling out with the larger races, Sheffield Half Marathon this month, Iceland Half Marathon in August, Great North Run in September, Cologne Marathon in October and finally Worksop Half Marathon the end of October.

But enough of all that running stuff this is what it's about here's the final figures:-

Just when I thought I had collected all my sponsor money someone has just thrust £40 in my hand for my London Marathon efforts so with Gift Aid that's upped the Zorg total by another £50

Image as confirmation that the total collected at the Horwood and Silverstone has been given to the MNDA. Obviously this doesn't include the £700 collected by TJ65. Current total stands at a little over £2,200 for the year so far.

Titan has just reminded my I haven't added the £60 collected at Newby hall to the site total!

Having now correctly counted everything the exact figure stands at £2263.75
