Hi all,

Sorry for the issues accessing the site today, the secure certificate expired overnight (provides HTTPS for the site). Completely my fault as I missed the renewal date coming through.

Safe to say the site is actually secure, it's just the mechanism for showing it's secure which isn't working correctly.

I need James to sort this out, but Brazil is 4 hours behind the UK at the moment so it will be an issue for a while today! until he comes online...

Chrome users will likely suffer more with the warnings, but Internet Explorer and Safari won't complain as much.

Sorry again, Gaz.

Different browsers will react differently to this. There are so many variations in how browsers work, it's a little ridiculous!

Chrome on my laptop is being a right bi*** and posting the warning on each click. So I just signed in on internet explorer, and it gives one warning and then doesn't care - just displaying a certificate error in the address bar! Safari on my iPhone doesn't care, but Safari on my iPad moans.

Ho hum!

Similar to our IT department mate, most of our sites open at 6.30 they start at 9am what's with these IT people? ;-)

Annoying but at least not a full on oh sh*t moment. Hopefully easily sorted.
Hopefully too that most realise the site hasn't gone bad overnight.

I'm still trying to decide whether to ban you or not for your poor judgement and bad taste in car accessories :wtf:

For some reason your text is black, I use the dark theme and had to log out to see what you had written.

That's odd! For some reason it ended up with some colour formatting on it which I hadn't selected... I've edited the first post and fixed it...

Excellent I thought it was just my mobile as I could log on via my tablet this morning.
Which was odd.
Not to worry all up and working properly now.
Thanks for your explanation Garry and for keeping the community together.
I guess it just shows how much we all enjoy the zroadster.org experience
