Good evening all,

I have a question regarding alarm operation and central locking.
I can lock and unlock my doors and boot using the remote key fob without issue. The alarm is meant to arm and disarm along with the door locking/unlocking.
However the alarm only arms if I open and close the passenger door first. I don't need to open and close the passenger door to disarm the alarm.
Any suggestions?

Drivers as in RH on a UK car Ken. I assumed that the N/S one works as opening and closing it makes the system arm. I have a drivers one to change mid June time to cure an alarm fault on a Z3. Could be wrong, any codes stored?

I can't say how easy or not they are to change Ken, but I'll be able to after June's Shed day. I suspect that the rear wheel arch liner at least will need to come out. The new switch has about 12-15 inches of cable attached.
