I have an original cd radio in my z3 and the cd player won’t take a cd, I don’t think there is a cd in it, is there an easy fix?

Only a technician could tell you if it's an easy fix or a total failure.

I had same problem when I bought my car, plus the cassette tray would not eject with the eject button. I found a fix on u tube. Insert a flat piece of plastic, like a credit card or store card, under the cassette tray and push it in as far as it will go. There is an eject button at the back, you will feel it when it operates. Then the tray will eject. Make sure it is empty..put it back in and press eject button. Keep repeating until tray ejects on its own. Eventually I was rewarded with a nice new cd, pitty it was Rolling Stones, not my genera.. when I checked the cassette, the plastic divider between cd5 and cd6 is warped. I now leave cd5 empty and it works fine.

I assume you’re referring to the multi changer? I havnt got one just a single cd with the business radio unit. I watched a YouTube video we’re a guy made a cardboard template of a cd and pushed it in with cleaning fluid on it. I tried that and pulled out a cd but it still won’t take a cd in or eject?

Yes, mine has a 6 cd multichanger in the boot. There was a cd stuck in the actual player but it wouldn’t eject. Once out the system worked fine. As you seem to have been able to recover the cd from your single player, clearly my fix is no use to you, sorry!
