Cd changer caddy potential to use for a sub?

Anyone ever thought of removing their cd changer and using the caddy to install a small sub?

The cd changer in mine doesn't work so was thinking the space could be used for something else

I thought of this too - I have a 10" sub sitting doing nothing, but then, the boot is a more or less sealed box not connected to the cab, so was worried it would simply be muffled or distorted. I dont know.
