Halfords do a Yuasa for £122 5year G/tee
Eurocarparts do a Lion for £86.99 plus a discount if you use their current discount code WEEKEND37 for 37% off. 3 year G/tee
Order on line and pick up locally if you have branches nearby.
If you look on Carparts4less which is web only part of Eurocarparts same battery is £60.34 but home delivery only. Add their discount code WEEKEND17 to get a further 17% off.

I wouldn't have a Lion battery. We had lots of returns with those.

Following advice from Mrscalex i bought the Honda /Valour 77 AmpH a couple of years ago, been very happy with it .

It was the first time I had had a battery with a breather outlet pipe.

I must have been lucky had Lion on the Z3 never let me down even after being parked up for a very long time, same on the Z4 sometimes left for weeks over winter and never fails to start

This quote from post I did last year in April - I went for Bosch S4007 with 3 year guarantee.
……………..
I’ve just replaced car battery on the Coupe yesterday which had been a bit iffy for starting the last month or so. I checked the details on battery in the car, Bosch S4007 supplied by Euro Car Parts according to sticker on it. I have never fitted a new battery whilst in my ownership of 7 years so had to look through the spreadsheet I've compiled of all car history from previous owners and found that the last battery was fitted in 2009 by previous owner, so not bad for 10 years!! Cost £81-95 + £25 + VAT for fitting back then.

It really does pay to check around as the price variations for the same/similar batteries are amazing. Using my car reg to find if I had the correct one installed, it proved correct. Euro Car Parts came up with £179.999 (4year guarantee), Halfords equivalent £98 and my local car parts guy Sewells in Billingham £76, with fitting cost of £0.

The Bosch S4007 with 3 year guarantee I picked up from Sewells (the shop owner put car reg in on his PC which came up with this battery also) turned out to be identical to my old battery when I put them side by side even down to the Bosch leaflet attached to the side of the battery.

I’ve had two Lion batteries on my Volvo in 12 years, just replaced the one on my recently acquired Range Rover which had been on there five years and was still spinning the engine over but the volt drop was throwing up error lights, put on another Lion but upgraded on the amps.

Varta on the Zed, replaced the original BMW one that was seen off by a faulty battery conditioner that put 20volts into it over winter layup.
