Any recommendations for a 'not too expensive', but not useless polisher before I write my letter to Santa!

Mines is a few years older than this (£109 current price) and is a rotary, not a DA. Good kit, in my view.

I have this one.

If you can make next Saturday Ken you're welcome to try it.:)

I have a SPTA da, it was just over £100 and it's superb for the dollar.

Dual action (da) less chance of paint burn
Rotories are better at removing swirls, orange peel etc but can create a lot of heat in not so experienced (and experienced hands)

I have the Das 6 pro and hard to get it wrong, just had to polish out some bird singe and had to use a heavy cut paste to make headway and work my way down to a fine paste to get a lovely sheen, but did take 3 hours to do the boot and the two rear wings, now I’ve had some years of experience with it I will be investing in a Rotary just to speed up the process but I was happy with my first purchase. BMW paint of this era is hard to cock up.

Some say if your a newbie to polishing its worth spending £10 on any old panel from your local breakers and practicising on that rather than on your pride and joy.
