If you don't mind cheap and cheerful, I have Halfords all-season car cover in XS size and it fits my Z3 perfectly, i.e. it pulls taut so water runs off better. Waterproof, breathable and £50 having just checked website. At that price it's pretty much disposable. I used mine to protect the car when painting sills so it's covered in overspray etc. But for fifty squids I'm not precious about what happens to it (compared to say, the proper BMW fitted cover!)

I covered my black '01 for several years. Recently I had paint correction and ceramic coating done. The guy who did the work strongly suggested I not cover it and showed my what it was doing to the paint. He also said the black paint is notoriously soft and that other colors are not as easily marked up (he specialized in BMWs for years because he's a fan).

Mine is inside a garage though and the cover was just for dust. I hope you find something that works for you.
