Car battery

I have a ‘98 2.8 with 67k on the clock. Just had to replace the battery, and have been wondering if the battery has any value, especially as it has BMW and German writing on it. To my knowledge the car has never lived abroad. Know that this is a long shot, but who knows.

Old one will have scrap value if you take it to a scap metal dealer probably in excess of £5 in your hand if you weigh it in. I tend to leave mine outside my drive gates and the local scrap collector picks it up, easy money for those guys.
