Looking for some guidance/suggestions…. I always have a very difficult time putting my tonneau cover on my Z3M…. I’m able to get the two outer buttons fastens (the ones near the doors) however I can never get the inner two buttons fastened…. Even when I attempt to snap in the inner fasteners first…. I know there are instructions however they don’t seem to work for me….. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideally a video?... Because I must be doing something wrong……. Thanks in advance

I always connect the ones behind the roll hoops first, then fold the outside ones afterwards then tuck all the edges in.
I’m sure there is a YouTube video showing this method.

Hi mate, you'll need the longer Tenax fittings to fit the two centre clips properly with the wind break fitted. Personally I don't bother and clip in the two outer clips, no issues at any speed. You'll also need to tuck your tonneau cover in

I use my tonneau cover all the time in the summer.
I tend to only clip the two outer pins on, and then tuck everything inside, ensuring the outer rim of the cover is tucked inside the car rather than sitting on top as shown in your pic.
I found that it is perfectly secure like this and has never even wobbled in use at 70mph.

But, IF I do the inside ones, I always put the inside ones on first as they are movable which means you can adjust the position and so enable you to find the right locking point, and THEN do the outside ones as in the video.
:-)

Are the fasteners ok? There should be three metal prongs..any less and they don’t tend to work
