I would like us all to remember Kevan aka Canman who would have been 46 today.

Kevan was one of the founder members on the site and a great bloke who's life was tragically taken early to the devastating disease Motor Neurone Disease. He was an avid zed fan owning both a Z3 and a Z4 which @GazHyde bought off him when he finally had to give up driving.

Here is a picture that I will always remember from when I took him flying in my brothers microlight which was a real thrill for him and ticked off one of his bucket list items he was determined to do before he passed away.

RIP Canman

Looked like a great guy. My loss for not having met him. I got to the UK too late! Frankie

Any Zedder is a sad loss but some like canman more than others because of there age and because they have so much to live for.

The guy was a legend, met him many a time and I never saw him without a smile on his face even as his health deteriorated.

He had the finest of Z3's you would ever wish to encounter - the thing was mint. He eventually needed an automatic, and bought a rather splendid Z4 for his dream Euro cruise. As Aceman said it later became mine when he sold it. A couple of pics of it in on his dream Euro trip.

It's always tragic when someone dies before their time, but when you are slowly destroyed by such a vile disease as motor neurones it makes it somehow all the more sad.

I'll always remember that happy smiley guy though! Rest in peace Kevan.

Only a year older than me. These things do make you take stock sometimes. I never got to meet Kevan but from what I've read on the forum he was a popular and very much loved guy. Good on ya Ian for setting up the thread.
