Event Cancelled. Help 4 Heros 2020. Giving something back... pt2..

Ok folks.

Date confirmed with H4H 6th September 2020

After being asked about this one by several people I have approached Help 4 Heros again at Tedworth House about revisiting and having a great day with the families.

The format will again be meeting up at Tedworth House and parking out the front of the amazing former Officers Mess. Then taking some of the great family members out for a quick drive around the local roads.

A BBQ / Food which all will agree was great last time and some live music I hope will again be in place.

If you are interested please add your name to the thread.

Oh and I hope the weather will be better than the first one of these.

To anybody that wonders what this is about, its about giving up your time to make someone less fortunate smile and forget about the bad times they have gone through. It is the most rewarding experience and the faces on the forum members said it all. Everybody was smiling and even though it was raining, the families had a great time too.

Please note that as this is on an MOD base at Tidworth I will be needing a copy of your insurance cover note nearer the time to pass to H4H so we conform with the MOD rules.

I think it was for all and the centre is amazing too. The smiles on the faces of the families made my day. Could not thank you all enough for giving up your time to make it possible.

Just to echo what Paul said, the young girl that came out with me was properly traumatised by her Old Man's ordeals and his PTSD. She managed to crack a smile even if for just 5 minutes.

Definitely count The Mints in please Paul, date dependant of course, but would love to do it again. It was a great day last time (forgetting about the weather), the chap I took out was amazing, we chatted all the time and I hope it took his mind of his problems even for just the hour we were out.
