Can someone in (near) Bristol help with spinning ignition key?

I've seen the threads and fix videos online and wondered if someone would do this to my car. I'm not the best with tools and usually pick my battles carefully and this one is not suited to my generally hamfisted approach.

The key works most of the time. Sometimes it spins a number of times but then works. It'll only get worse and leave me stranded.

So if someone can help I can reimburse with banter and beer.. or coffee and no banter, up to you!

Thanks in advance,
Rich :)

Can't help with recommendations but if you do get stranded you can start the car by removing switch from bottom of assembly and turning it with a screw driver or similar flat blade. You still need key in ignition to satisfy chip.
There are 2 small screws which hold the switch in position. see pics below.A831DED0-3321-46C9-B0AD-DDCEDFEDB5A1.jpegB3DF1174-1D9D-4FC2-9F16-97F830A835DA.jpeg

The Zedsheds run by members on here are not commercial in any way, just a bunch of us who get together to carry out jobs on our cars as and when something needs doing. There is a commercial Zedshed in the Manchester area but he latched onto the name after it came about on this forum. The Zedshed HQ is in the Basingstoke area and was the first, the Midlands Zedshed is run by @t-tony on here over in Lincolnshire and ours over in Wales, usually at mine as I have a car lift in the gagrage. Zedshed at Lydney is by invitation only and operated by @Nodzed. Rules of engagement are owner supplies any parts required and all work carried out is at owners risk, we encourage everyone getting their hands dirty under the guidance of those that know what they are doing. Any donations are welcome to cover running costs and garage consumables but entirely up to the individual. We have a mixture of Z3 and Z4's that frequent our shed spread over South Wales and some from your Bristol side. We do have run outs and attend some of the car shows when they happen. Have a Whats App Group to keep in touch off the Forum as well.

Thanks Colb, really interesting and useful info and I'd love to be a part of it. Will happily donate and help where I can, my skills are limited on the mechanical side but I'm a try'er. Do you have set times of being available? The spinning key thing is of most concern as this can potentially leave me stranded and I've just sold my E92 and my E46 is having its' roof fixed at the moment so the Z3 is my only daily.
