Can anyone recommend someone to inspect a Z3 in London/South East? + Hood repair

Hi

I've recently joined the site and am looking for a really good pre-face lift 2.8 manual with a solid service history.

1. Does anyone know someone who does inspections of Z3s and knows them well?
2. See attached picture of a hood just above the window where the seam is coming away. Is this repairable or does this mean a new hood entirely?
3. If it means a new hood, any recommendations of where to go?

Most zeds with original hoods will be deteriorated to some extent or other

My Dakar roof looks similar to a degree but opens and closes fine .
My zed sits outside uncovered in all that the Scottish weather can throw at it by does not leak even in the worst rain .
Jack Smith trimmers in Swansea is popular with forum members but there have been a few on here had done by other companies and are happy with the work done.

I've used Croydon Soft Tops for 3 of my Zeds and can't complain. About £100 more than the guy in Swansea but relatively local to me as I live in Sussex
