as the title of the thread says..

have had a look and there is one I can buy from the US for £40 but its going to take at least a week to get it here and I just want to crack on..

needless to say it will be looked after as if my own...

    thanks

    Joe

    I'm semi confident..

If we go slowly and methodically there is no reason why it won't work just fine...

On another note I have decided to go for a standard gasket as although 0.4 was taken from the ends only 0.2 was taken from the middle giving an average of .3..

    so the head was warped..

I don't want to lose compression and have worked out the clearance should be fine.

Fan delete mod done and air intake will be going on as well as all new hoses rad and engine temp sensor..

    Oil change is a given..

Theoretically she should run better than before...

    Will keep you posted gents.

Thanks for the support from all,it's been a challenge and I could not have even considered it without Barry's help..

Have you removed the injector rail yet? The seals on the injectors shrink, might be worth a check, as it is another way of stopping unmetered air getting in the system.
