This will keep me occupied for the next couple of days --- no rush now.

Common prob with 6 cylinders small leak at front right side of cam cover seal, not serious but annoying.

Might as well do the vanos as well while you've got the lid off.. just so you don't get bored =))

Had my gasket replaced a few weeks ago. Leaking in the same place. The old gasket had gone hard and brittle. If you tried to flex it it just snapped. All sorted and oil tight now.

Did the old gasket shatter into a zillion pieces when you took it out? I know mine did, surprised it managed to do any sealing at all being that hard and brittle. And, like @Jack Ratt says, ideal time to do the vanos if you've not done it already, did mine using a kit off ebay.

Not just me, then.

When we did the oil filter housing on Alejandro's car last Saturday the seals on the bushing were just the same. Someone had previously had it out because it was lathered in silicon gasket. When we removed them they just snapped in half. Probably the original parts.
