The trailing arm bushes are easy enough. I use a threaded rod, nuts, washers and a socket.
Here’s the reinstallation configuration. Removal is a bit different but same principle. Some heat with a blow torch can help to get out - if required.
Beam bushes are a very different thing. Ideally they need a 10 tonne press - not that expensive and useful for other things. I do use parts from a special toolkit. Although that’s designed for on car use. Which I think is too much like hard work. But certain parts are idle as the drifts. But absolutely not necessary. Other drifts will do if they fit. Plenty of heat from a blow torch is required to soften the rubber to remove.
I use a purpose made rubber lube, like milk, to reinstall both types. It dries up after 10-20 mins.
