Building a Campervan

Since I have no better place to document this, I decided to post about it here

After my Z3 Kobra project was finished, I decided this years project is to build a campervan!

Managed to get this for 10k and its a nice base van with high motorway milage.

Current plan is to turn it into a full off grid camper with modern electronics.

Has anyone else built anything similar, would love to see examples.

Jim, @TaffZee built his on a Sprinter van. Not sure if he is still on here though? Our son bought a new VW Crafter last year and as a self employed joiner he intends making his dual purpose as a living van with a separate portion at the rear for his work tools etc.

Electrics still work in progress but has 400 watt solar panel on roof

- Skylight fitted
- Windows installed
- Inside insulated
- Walls battoned
- 1st fix electrics run
