Luckily it's only this one

out of my belt sander. Just ordered two more, had the sander for several years and never let me down, so it's worth it to make sure I can get on with the highly important project. Here's a couple of clues

Nice lump of driftwood off the beach round at Morfa Nefyn. Was busy smoothing it off a bit when the belt snapped, so got out the angle grinder with a flap wheel on it, can do a lot of damage with one of them, and wind up with it looking like

And in its probable orientation (vertical)

So, what could it wind up being? Answers on a postcard to the usual address.

I have sensed a heightened dislike of tourists in your posts so I’m guessing it’s a club for culling tourists.

Don't actually dislike them, it's the way they just can't cope with roads that don't have a white line up the middle, have no idea of how to reverse to the nearest passing place, suddenly stop and gawp at their tw@navs/maps, and generally get in the way from Easter to Novemberish.
But there again a cull might be good.We'll keep the good-looking ones.
