Went on an enjoyable drive out with the BMW Car Club today to Chipping Norton and Broadway Tower. Glorious weather and not too busy at the Tower. Lovely E30 convertible which the owners have had since it was 2 years old.

View from the tower 16 counties can be seen not all in this pic. Red dear are grazing and sun was out.

great pics, if you look closely in the first pic you can see some sort of red streak going up fish hill:whistle:

Looks lovely @Brian4 :p
Glad you had a good day ;)

did you have a drive around the lavender fields?

No not this time we have been before. We passed the Batsford Arboretum which we meant to go to last time we were that way so will have to remember to go when the leaves are turning again.

Batsford Arboretum is a must in October. I see a mini cruise coming on ;)

oooo yeh, a second Cotswold cruise, the shorter more visiting places kind of cruise.

At the turning for Broadway tower you can still see traces of tears from @NODZED & @pgunter when they realised they couldn't catch the Yaris going up Fish Hill :whistle::whistle:

Agree - just a couple of places close together with some cream teas in between

Westonbirt Arboretum below Tetbury is a must if you like Autumn colours

34 miles between too far to pull them both in?

Westernbirt is huge. If anyone wanted to see more than a little it would take a few hours. When I went last I didn't get more than 100m from the entrance though. Too much to photograph :ymdevil:
Batsford is a nice short walk calling at the cafe on the way in and out.
It will be busy though. Getting everyone together in car park for photos would take some organising.
