For Sale Breaking 1.9 pre-facelift Z3 in Boston Green

All parts currently available apart from fuel pump, seats and wheels/tyres. Someone already has first dibs on sill covers and wings but I'm waiting for a break in the weather to get them off for inspection.

Nice solid car. Was going to be a project but just needed too much spent on service parts like brakes and suspension. Makes me sad breaking cars that could go back on the road but needs must for financial reasons and the fact I have 2x 2.2s ahead of it in the project queue.

Example prices.

• Nearly new roof and rear window. Almost certainly Jack Smith as it's a Welsh car. Complete assembly £175
• Roll bars complete with cubby box, side plastics and fixings £275
• Door mirrors solid but heavily corroded bases. £175 pair.

Collection preferred from Swindon or Swansea. Or can deliver/meet up within a 15 minute radius of the M4 in between Swindon and Swansea. Can post smaller parts.

I am not the fastest gun in the west for removing and posting parts due to only being in Swindon part of the week.

Black. I don't tend to pickup stuff in Beige.

No worries keeping eye open for a beige set for lynne's zed. green can come with beige trim couldn't really see from the pictures.

I'm afraid not. But if you are after a compressor I have one from a 2.2. It was inspected by my air con man and he said it looked good. But it was never needed in the end.

I also have a complete air con fan assembly from a 2.2.

Looking at realoem these parts will fit any 6-cylinder facelift engine. But not either pre-facelift, 1.9 or 2.8.

@Mazza I don't think I responded to the heated seat switch question. No sorry none of those currently.

@Wilko58 I can't get back on the car until Sunday but will sort the door lock then. Sorry for delay.

@Jjim I am expecting the roof to be sold on Sunday. I do have another one, a pristine original one with superb window but another forum member has first option on that. Will let you know if that one doesn't go through. I do have a 3rd roof. It needs cleaning and a new window. After the current roof comes off on Sunday I'm going to fit that one to keep the car dry. If I think I can bring the roof up to a very good standard as mentioned then I'll let you know but not sure how quickly that will happen. I like to keep stitched windows so the original will be dispatched to a specialist for a new piece of plastic. The other reason I like this method is they use the old plastic as a template (and the old zip) so it's an exact fit for the way it may have stretched in that roof. I'll also repair any failed stitching on the corners.

Most of us big into Scalextric end up single anyway Well we certainly live constantly under the threat

Keep an eye out for the Supreme Velocity set in Asda. It's a great starter set. It was a decent enough price at £60 originally but they've been discounting to £40 (I bought a couple at this price) and I've even heard mention at £30 in the last week but stocks will be sporadic now and you'll need to check all your local stores as they aren't available online any more.

I'll keep a look out for you. None in Swindon but back in Swansea tomorrow which is where I got them before. Perhaps they'll move between stores for you as it will get expensive me posting it on.
