Time to re-new the old breakdown cover so asking on the forum what experiences does anyone have with Chris Knott? I assume the cover is good as he seems to be on quite a few forums, I have not found any feedback though. Not that Z3,s breakdown (thanks to Gaz and Lee) but just in case as I am using this car all year round.

I've been with Green Flag for the last 8 years or so since I handed back the keys to the company car. Luckily *touches wood* I've not had to call them out once.

As usual with all things, read the small print and make sure they provide the level of cover you need.

I'm with the RAC, they are ok, been with them for 3 years, used them once, turned up in 40 mins.

Same as Mark, with the RAC since 1986, beat them down every year on their quote for three of us. Peace of mind motoring with one of the original services.

I am with Chris Knott on the Z3 but not had to use them thankfully but the breakdown cover is competitive.

I'm with Admiral, and have been for the last 5 years, includes breakdown cover. No one can beat them and I've tried a wide range of brokers for quotes.

You have to be aware that companies have an age limit on the car, once your car is over 15 years old it seems to get more expensive and harder to find cover.:(

We're with the RAC and they won't cover the zed abroad because it's more than 10 years old. Think that rules every single zed out on the euro trips. :(. They do however cover all the cars in the family in the UK so it's worth the money for peace of mind.

Well if the RAC don't cover me for Europe I'll be writing to their HQ and telling them that our Zs are less likely to break down than the drivers, didn't think to ask them when I last renewed and looks like I'll be changing if they refuse to cover my Z.:bored:
