Hello All,

After a lot of deliberation, I have decided to put he Z on the market!!:arghh:

As a lot of you would of seen at Beaulieu, its in very good condition, its currently on 57K miles (may tip over to 58K before I sell) and its the very last of the 73 right hand drive S54 Z3MR's to come of the production line, so this really is unique and rare car.

I wont go into chapter and verse about all of the facts and features, but if any one is interested I'm happy to discuss in more detail.

I currently have an offer from a dealer for over £30K for a part exchange, so you can expect to see this adervitsed somewhere north of £35K, if I go ahead with the part ex.

Before I go down this path, I thought I should offer it on the forum, as I know a number of you have previously expressed and interest. I currently have this on an agreed value insurance policy at £33K (as reccomended by Grosvenor), so that is going to be the price I will be asking.

Just a couple of photos as a reminder to what it looks like:

Please feel free to ask if you have any question, want more detail, or have any feedback.

Thanks,

Neil.

It's hard to say if this is the best S54 Z3M out there, as any that is likely to be on a par with it is likely tucked away in a garage and hasn't seen daylight for many years. It's truly stunning, wish I had even had a piggy bank let alone one that would get near. Whoever gets this is very lucky, but I can help but think it may be the last time it's seen in public (sorry, that's not a guilt trip honest!).

Thanks for all the comments and for the old posts . It truly is a great car with some good provenance. I know I will miss it, but its just too small for me and can not justify keeping it just as an investment, even if it does seem to go up a potential 15% in value each year..

Good luck with the sale, cannot believe where the prices on these cars have gone over the past couple of years. A truly lovely example.

I would be tempted by the dealer offer at over £30k, by the time you have haggled with tyre kickers for £33k a quick easy sale might be a easy option.

I could be tempted by that but couldn't use it as I do my 3.0 and I don't have a spare garage.

You know you want to
Just my opinion so please don't shout at me  ..... As Neil knows I'd give my left nut for this M and I did consider it, but I would have to moth ball it, and that goes against my principles that cars are there to be driven, but not this one, I'm not a collector and therefore the cost just doesn't equate for me as I would knock the value off it by using it too much (not saying its not worth the money, I think it is) I believe this should be preserved as its the last RHD M off the line, there's more than enough M's out there to be used, abused and enjoyed. This one needs to be purchased by BWM heritage IMHO. Would be nice to see it in the BMW UK HQ at Farnborough perhaps.
