Write Up Brands Hatch ZedShed outing - August 22

Had to be done, got the bug from last time so we assembled the usual crew with a couple of extras.

First off. VANOS service + new power steering pump + M Track mode. OMG it’s transformed the car and it was good before. Brake cooling and the Dunlop tyres are the weak links now. It’s got so much more grunt since Mr Vanos’ visit, although the side effect seems to be the exhaust output is noticeably increased. It squeaked under the noise test at 102db. An odd side effect but it is what it is.

Rough calculation of around 65-70 laps, and including the drive to the circuit I got 160 miles out of that tank

Two Z4 coupes, Z4M, Z3M, 3.0 Z3 and the MX5 (lightly modded)

All the clips we have from trackside just over a minutes worth. You should be able to spot Lee (blue Z4 coupe), Kieran (dark green Z4 coupe), Luc (Mazda MX5), Bill (Z3M Roadster) and me!

Hopefully we should have some 360 degree cam footage at some stage from inside Luc's MX5
