Not quite Z3 but my daughter in law has a 1 series hatchback and pad replacement light has come on.

Anyone know if it is an easy job to replace the pads on one of these, dont know if front, rear or all four as yet.

Cheers. Nigel

Looking at ours they look standard brake calipers so same principle as the Z3 and diyable even the Msport brake are very similar. You will also need the wear sensor. It will usually be the front brakes as the rears don't do a great deal. Also check the disc thickness, is here a lip around the edge of the disc.
Where do you live as sombody local may be able to advise as well

My brother has a 1 Series and I’ve done discs and pads on that. Identical to Z3 in nearly all respects.

Just be aware, some cars, not sure about ours, you must open the bleed nipple before pushing the cylinders back, as the ABS system doesn't like fluid going backwards.

Interesting, not heard of that before. I wonder if that’s a particular manufacturer?
