Would a brake shoe warning lamp be a reason to fail an MOT? I have the warning lamp on just now but have my MOT in the morning, If this is a failure I'll "modify" the sacrificial cables to suit :)

Thanks

Brian

P.S. I have plenty of meat on my brake shoes as Ive just changed them, forgot the sacrificial cable though :bashhead:

Any thoughts @t-tony?

Brian,

@t-tony is the man to answer this but I believe as it's a red light it's a fail. You should be able to find info on DVLA MOT sites on what is required - I did have a link but can't find it at the moment but I'll keep looking for you.
They should check the light works on start-up test but not all testers are so keen.

Only pass and advise Brian. Only failure is the brake fluid level warning light on.

Tony.

Another question answered, thanks again Boys :)
