I had my rear brake hoses made by a little shop in Watford, they are one piece from the bulkhead to the calliper, I should have took a picture before I fitted them but was so chuffed at the job they went straight on.They clip into the same clips the solid pipe runs in then through the clamping holes using grommets. I'm under the Z again this weekend for oils & filters I'll see what I can get a shot at. £20.00 per side I thought that was good so going back to them for the fronts next month & possibly the clutch as well.

That’s a good idea Martin, the braided hose kits on the Z4 do the same. The small hard brake line on the trailing arms are quite tricky to replace.
