Hello all. Having bought my new little Z3 the only issue with it is that the central locking doesnt work. From reading posts on here it seems that for my problem (drivers door lock not opening boot or passenger door) is likely to be the boot loom being faulty.

As a complete novice to all this (and a non mechanically minded woman) can anyone provide any step by step guidance on what I need to do, literally a step by step basic instruction?

Many old posts on here search for Loom of doom to find them many with how to and pictures. Need to strip back the outer loom between body and boot lid to find the broken wires. If they are really bad and green crusties then a replacement loom from eBay can be grafted in. Always use solder joints and heat shrink on the repairs.
