Boot lock

Any one had any issues with the boot catch on a m44 1997 Z3 the boot will shut but wont stay down the catch seems to operate when you shut the lid but doesn't stay shut is it a new boot catch ?

I would try adjusting the length of the rod which releases the boot catch. They need a little free play to take the pressure off the catch. @Grumps had the problem that his boot would "pop up" randomly and that is how we stopped that happening.
