It all depends on how well you pack! For example, the front bumper holds seven loo rolls, each sealed in a plastic bag . . .

We used to go camping in Europe for a month every year, with so much stuff squeezed into the Z3 that people in the campsite used to come and watch - one German even made a video to show his friend at home!

Here is just some of the stuff we used to take - if one item was packed in the wrong position the boot lid
would not close!

That is one hell of a laptop! That’s gotta be the best part of 50kg 😁

Yeah but you need something that big and bulky to contain all those nuclear missile codes ... or if you need it to hold down a corner of the tent .... =))

It is surprising how much spare volume there is in a Z3 - we used to pack 'best' clothes in suit bags behind each seat, fleeces and jackets behind the roll bars, towels inside the mesh wind break - where they dried out during the day - while the boot took things such as a slow cooker, two burner gas stove, small casseroles, mugs, decent cutlery, a small clothes bag each. DVDs, and a load of paperbacks.

With DVD box sets such as the 'Sharpe' series we could read the books on the beach and watch the videos in the evenings.

As motorcyclists we were used to packing carefully, our compact (four seasons) sleeping bags being about as big as a large tin can, with inflatable insulated mattresses and pillows.

I have posted more detailed information in the 'Articles' section.
