Bonnet stuck

Hi, I’d appreciate some advice on getting my stuck bmw z3 97 bonnet open. The latch has tension so I think it’s seized on the drivers side catch. Thank you

I've had something similar, got underneath, took off the splashguard thing, and managed to get up to the catches with a long screwdriver and pop it open. New catches and cables weren't too expensive, but it was a few years ago. Awkward but doable.
