Board index view

Would it be possible to make the board index show all subforums? It's not very user friendly only being able to see the latest posts in each section by clicking on the section title. Although this is a small change I think it's one of the things that throws people when they come over from .net

Good tip Gazza.

I've checked the forum settings, and it appears that the expanded style isn't an option in phpBB3.

I'm having a quick look in the phpBB support forums to see if there is any modification that can be added to do this.

Will let you know how I get on

I think it's just the type of forums they're set to after a quick search on the phpBB forums. You need to create a forum with the type set to "Category" with no parent - this would be "Anything Else" for example, and set the subforums as forums with the parent set to the Category forum.

20 minutes of moving forums, changing categories and moving forums back has worked!

It also has the benefit of people not being able to post where we don't want them too.
