We see lots of weird looking camouflaged cars going to and from MIRA. Lots of LR's and Jags but other stuff too. Wouldn't expect to see a BMW unless its seriously lost.

Ford run over 20 models on 3 platforms. They are nothing more than jigsaws nowadays. I don't like shared platforms either but all the manufacturers will continue to sell them to there competitors, it's a multi billion pound industry.

Absolutely Dave, the other week I tested a Mazda 3, a Focus and a Volvo after each other and they were all the same underneath.

Why make a fresh model, why not just market it as a facelift Z4 going back to grass roots with the rag top. It's like the Golf conv and the Eos, how many Golf convs so you see nowadays?
