Just to introduce myself to the community.
I have a silver Z3M Roadster 1997.
Following a mishap I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction for a front bumper.

Hi and welcome from me in Scotland :welcome:
I would imagine this will be scare and pricey second hand and extremely pricey from the dealer.

What a coincidence ... I'm new here too—and just had the same problem! I went too fast over a railway crossing and compromised my bumper. I found a few after-markets online, but had been warned to be wary of misfits (a common problem with non-BMW body parts). In the end, I found a used one of the same color at Aarons Auto Supply in Medford NY (that's Long Island). Didn't have to do anything other than bolt it on—which they kindly did for me onsite. (See resourceful Forklift-Installer Dude in photo). www.aaronauto.com is their URL. I did see a few others during my search, but most were too far away from me (in Philadelphia) and all the quoted shipping costs were pretty ridiculous. Having typed all this "story", I have no idea where you are! ☺

Majority of members on here are UK or Europe based. There quite few members in the USA though, I'm looking to meet up with a guy from Melbourne in Florida when we come over in April.

Tony.

Fellow Z3 owners. Can anyone recommend a reliable supplier for a bodykit that is suitable for a 1997 Z3M model.

Hi there DX, Apologies for only just reading your message.. Do you have an image of the front bumper.
This was before removal. It’s in my shed so I will need to dig it out. It had the headlight washers fitted which I think were an extra, but not sure.
just a couple of scuffs on the bottom edge if I recall correctly. Let me know if you want more and I can take them at the weekend.

I love this build… so close to the 507, but, those wheel caps should just be silver or polished chrome. IMHO.

Edit: To say that it is not clear to me witch kit you used. Is that the Isabella with modifications? Your car looks closer to the 507 than anything else I've seen.

It’s a new kit from Tribute, this is the first customer body taken from the moulds.
Wheels are based on the original Rudge wheels which were normally body coloured

Wow.. The replica certainly looks the part. The front bumper is not quite the same as the Z3.. I am currently waiting for some confirmation from others.. If I do not have any success I will Get back to you if that’s ok..
That’s fine. The bumper is a 1999 z3 2.8 one so should fit.
it’s stored for the moment so no issues

Yeah, sorry. It's just that the iconic image I have in my mind of the 507 is this:

Actually, my Spitfire looks a bit like this— poor man's mix of 507 and E-Type! :)
