Wanted BMW Z3 sills - Facelift - I doubt this is an unusual request

Hi Folks,
Relatively new to the forum but been a BMW enthusiast for 30 years. Finally laid my hands on a 3.0 Sport Z3 and guess what? it needs new sills.
Does anyone have any available or can offer advice as to where I can get some please? My local BMW dealer is quoting £206 each which if I have to pay I will, but I am hoping there maybe someone that can guide me to a better solution. Thanks in advance

Only place to get them is the dealers. Other option is GRP but original is best. Properly prepared they will outlast the original from new ones.

As Tony says, go for the originals,Cotswold BMW in Cheltenham sold me a pair for £280 for our 2001 3.0 last August.

Good usable second hand sill covers are as rare as hen's teeth. I replaced mine last year on my M Coupe, they didn't look that bad just a bit crusty at each end, however on removal they dropped to bits!! Bought my new sill covers from dealers, got a bit of discount with being BMWCC member. There a few threads on here to give you plenty of info on replacing the sill covers, the inner sills will need treatment after rust removal.

I don't know where you live but Sopers will give you a good discount but will not ship as they can get damaged in transit. When I bought some a few years ago it was well worth driving from Surrey to Lincoln to collect them.

£206? They were only about £135 when I last checked 12 months ago. Maybe things moved on since then like many prices have. But I’d give Cotswold BMW a go in Cheltenham. They are fair and have shipped for me.
