Hi all,
Just to introduce myself retired early because of a brain tumour and Parkinson's. Whilst I can still use the hands I wanted to build the Cobra with my son Owen who is a trainee mechanic. Hoping to get a lot of hints and tips along the way. Cheers in advance guys😉

Welcome along and sorry to hear of your issues.
There are good few people on the rebody pages who have good experience on building Tribute kits and other kits onto the Z3. I am not one of them BTW. I have scratched my head so much doing mine that all my hair has disappeared! :D

If you don't have a Z3 already my advice would be to look for a good one. As good as you can afford. Many are now rust-buckets so finding a good solid example will pay later IMO.

Welcome along. Sounds like a great project. My dad probably kicked off my petrolhead antics. Not sure he realises it but the times fixing clutches and head gaskets on my old mk2 fiestas were great. A cobra build is next level greatness. I'll look forward to the progress thread

Welcome. The Kobra is Tribute's most popular kit and you'll find good advice on here.

Where are you based? There'll be Kobras at the Malvern show at the end of May.
