This is a general query rather than me needing one. Been seeing conflicting advice on whether these are still available from BMW or not. Can you confirm this or not?

Hi Gary,

The fitting kit with the part number: 54.21.9.408.699 is no longer available. It's not even listed on our parts catalogue anymore, I had to find the number off the net.

There is talk of some dealers stocking inferior Chinese copies of the fitting kits don't know how true this is but would explain why some say they are still available.
