Hi all,

Just interested which engines people have in their Z3's, and if there is one which is the most popular. No reason, just my personal curiosity.

My guess is that the 3.2 (M) will be most popular?

[Gaz option 6 should be 2.8? sorted ;) ]

Yep burble sums it up for the sixes, what you really want is the full throttle roar of M44, nothing quite like the smell of napalm in the morning!

Is there a prize for the winning engine?
No, but prizes will be awarded in the competition I'm running later this evening!

Interesting so far, with the 1.9 and 2.2 taking a slight lead!
Maybe you should work the % against actual production numbers ;)

Funny how many reviews say the 1.9 isn't enough yet is the most sold variant. I think it is fine because i favour economy and reliability. Funny that ten years ago I bought a cheap mx5 1.6 and put a TURBO on it from a scrap yard. I used to cane it on and off track. Guess ive calmed in my senior years.

Most of the early reviews were written on the first cars released which were the M43 8v, So not reflective really of the M44
