hi guys and girls!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I’ve been busy zedding and loving it as always! I hope everyone is enjoying doing the same :)

So in the past few weeks I’ve had my airbag light come on for the first time. Speaking to others, the thought was that it might be one of the cables under one of the seats that apparently often do get damaged with age and movement of the electric seats. I’ve just had the codes read (it was too sophisticated for my code reader to detect, so necessitated a trip to autohaus bmw!) and it’s come up as ‘battery, positive terminal isolation 1’ - it looks to be the SBK battery cable running from
The battery in the boot (the Red one in the photo!) he also said that little yellow connector that you can see seemed a bit loose.

The bad news is the cable is 190 plus VAT and they’ve been lovely and said it’s a lot of money for a cable and if I can find one ‘reconditioned’ (ie second hand!) and get it fitted they can then do the airbag connection, clear the codes etc

My question is does anyone happen to have a spare one lying about, is breaking a car or knows of a good breakers I could contact? I’ve used quarry motors in Sheffield quite a bit before and I haven’t tried them yet. Ebay isn’t showing any!

Many thanks in advance and hope everyone in the uk is enjoying the amazing sun today!

Spurs fan in a coupe , or there are a couple of other residential breakers on here that should be able to oblige. Put an ad in the wanted section and it will be seen.
