I became only the 5th owner of this Z3 at the start of the year when I bought it from the previous owner who had owned it 6 years and covered 20k miles but had recently had it Sorn'd and garaged due to lack of use.
I have since bought an E89 and with 3 other cars in the house I have reluctantly decided to sell this one.
It has a good service (see photo's) and MOT history having only covered just over 81,000 miles.
The car was registered as a Cat-C back in 2010 but has since covered 46k miles and past the VIC inspection back in Nov 2010. Unfortunately the previous owner didn't have any documentation or information regarding the write-off other than to say it was not structural.
I have been using the car on spirited drives through the Peak District and must say it performs great benefitting from a recent new mohair roof so the back screen is really clear.
The style 78's are also in great condition having recently been refurbished in a gun metal grey which really compliments the Topaz Blue bodywork. They are also fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round with 6mm on front and 4.5mm on rear.
All electrics work as they should and the battery was replaced in October last year - the original Alpine stereo headunit also works great.
The front bumper would benefit from a refresh as there are some small areas of lacquer peel and the front of the drivers side sill is displaying the first signs of rust as is the passenger mirror base.
All in all a great opportunity to aquire a late 2.2i Sport in a great colour combination that drives really well and during my usage has returned an average MPG of 38.6.
I'll be sad to see it go but we can't keep them all and will leave it advertised on the forum only until the end of the month in the hope it stays in the community.
