Just had a total mechanical overhaul
This Z3 has just undergone a huge transformation that will see it ready for another 18 years.
Beam bushes/ Diff bushes – All bushes replaced
Wishbones / drop links any other associated bush replaced
New BMW rear window
Handbrake cables replaced / Throttle cable replaced
4 New tyres
Engine boot hoses replaced up to the throttle body
Bonnet and bumper totally stripped and re painted.
This zed drives very well and very smooth. The engine itself idles very smoothly and is quiet. A lot of the cosmetic work has been done but it will need a few more bits doing before it’s any concourse car while the front has been resprayed the rear has a couple of scuffs and a small 1p size bit of lacquer gone bear in mind this car is 18 years old, very hard to spot when it’s clean & shinny. The roof has been stripped of mould and dirt but will need re dying as it’s slightly faded. The interior was very bad so I had the seats redone. So in summary the car is mechanically 100% but will need a few more cosmetic touches.
