Event BMW Somerfest Saturday June 3rd

Somerfest 2022 Donnigton great turnout of BMW's including our very impressive Zed display

Sommerfest 2023 to be held at Oulton Park Circuit on Saturday 3rd June 2023. Detail planning for the event will now start, however we wanted to share what we know so far, and ask for your support.

The show will be based in the circuit’s infield, again offering clear views over the track and the ongoing racing. At Oulton the paddock and cafeteria are also in the infield, and all areas are closely connected together giving a more ‘compact’ feel than Donington. We will also be making use of the Fogarty Moss Conference and Meeting Complex, providing an indoor location for the Club Office, Merchandise, Hospitality and display cars, all with clear views over the race track. Along with the nearby Chequers Restaurant building this gives us a show location that can cope with unpredictable weather.

Just a update from the Z3 M Coupe site we've got a list going on the Forum of attendees for this event with 4 M Coupes presently going.
Put on here to check to see if Stacey and Martin might be attending in case they haven't seen the list yet.

Is there going to be a zed stand? Only one I can see is the Z3M Coupe when trying to book. All the others are grouped by year, not by model this time.

For a group stand need a minimum of 10 cars, i will be on the Eastern region stand with a Mix of BMW's including Zeds more than welcome to join us we have 18 cars at present.

Alternatively Z3's will be on the 1990 - 2000 year band as its not the registration date more the launch date so in effect Z3's could park together within this Group

Not in the area graded by year, Z4's will be in the 2000 to 2010
Looks like there may be enough interest to have a Zroadster group, only need 10 anyone who has already booked can easily change to another section. If not come and join me on the Eastern area and park together. We can have a Zed stand within our group
All though i will be on the Eastern region happy to facilitate a Zroadster group, only need someone to Marshall the area up to 10am, think i have someone in mind.

Wahoo, don't have to park next to your shed again

I am looking at the North Wales, Mid Wales and Shropshire region to park with. I believe they were who we parked with on Sunday at Weston Park and they seemed very welcoming. Then we can all park together as well as Ben if he comes?

Hi Wez, if you contact the BMWCC office 01970 267989 or visit bmwccarclubgb.co.uk/somerfest not sure if there will be a dedicated Zed stand best to book for the 1990-2000 section will be plenty of Z3's on there hopefully parked together. It is possable to swap on the day
