Hey @Dino D, just a quick question, why would you want to mount your front plate to make your Z look like an Alpha Romeo?
Any hoose, have a great time you lot........

What can I say but another great trip out with fellow enthusiasts. Not been to Santa Pod before, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great weather too. Did anybody clock the magic 100 mph down the strip?

Well, another awesome meetup today! Huge thanks to @yocky z3 2.0 for organising yet again - always in safe hands with Tony.

Only a couple of pics from me, as I was tooooooo busy nattering with everyone and forgot (again). Managed to get a few laps with @Tommy Bates - you sir are an absolute legend, loved my few laps before the rear tyre exploded. Hopefully the damage wasn't too bad to the rear wing - another battle scar to your Zed  I know @Tracy Dee @BMBabe really enjoyed their laps too.

Interestingly the majority of peeps wanting a go in a drift taxi wanted to go in the Z3. There were a couple of Skylines, an MX-5 and a couple of 3 series to choose from as well. There was at least 12 people queuing for the Zed, and each time a different car was available they had to call someone from the back of the queue. The poor lad in the MX-5 must have been a bit upset as they really struggled to find passengers for him.

Rosie waiting patiently before heading off:

Tesco Meetup. No BMW Car Club attendance at the Pod this year, seems it's not a good enough event despite being one of the biggest BMW shows in the country... o_O

It seems like that club is on its last legs having read a few things over the last six months or so.

I agree, the club is in decline, it wasn't my cup of tea.

Seen by external people as a club of snobs.

Really enjoyed my drift taxi with @Tommy Bates if only I could do that kind of magic in my Z3

Hello! Just got round to doing my write up. Fantastic day all round. Superbly organised by @yocky z3 2.0 (Tony). Excellent weather yet again! Miserable as bloody sin when @jue1 and my good self left home at 6am. Pitch black and thick fog, a lovely start but by the time we got to the meet point at Tesco Wellingborough the sun had come through. I apologise to anyone we didn't get to say bye to but our dogs had been locked up ages so had to get away.
Didn't get many pics but here's a few of what I managed to grab between gabbing to the zorg massive!!!

@swamper hedging his bets down the strip.

And finally a photo I have to put on. I met a lovely fella and his son today that goes by the name of @Dino D. When I returned to my Zed after a stroll about I found this sat on my dash. A truck for a trucker. Yes that's TRUCKER everybody! It will be coming to work with me tomorrow and will have pride of place on my dash in my can. Thank you very much, you're gentleman and a true zedder! I'm sure our paths will cross again.

Cheers everyone!
