Cheers!

E85. Bought sight unseen on an internet auction (yeh yeh - I've had the lecture many times before!). "Felt" ok and well within the bounds of my home workshop to deal with issues. The car was filthy and has subsequently had a very thorough (seats out) clean and polish. Has near new tires, recent full service and nice specs such as motorsport suspension pack and sports steering wheel. It's a 2003 model, 2.5 auto but only done 120000km. Lots of little fixits to be done which I will get through soon. I'll replace the waterpump, belts thermostat and give the trans a flush. Runs really well as it is but what is a world without working on cars I say. :p

Sorry about the messy workshop - too many projects!!!

Current frustration is the driver's door lock has the dreaded spinning barrel issue which has cascaded into a very serious issue of not being able to get the door open. I'll do a full write-up of this saga soon.

Regards
