BMW E36 Breaking - Advice Needed

Right folks, I'm looking to break my dad's e36 which has finally given up after being in the family for a very very long while - I was 6 or 7 when we got the car.

Sadly the head gasket has gone, initially we suspected the water pump so we replaced that but the car still overheated. It used to be manageable but now the engine has started to vibrate violently so it's time to get rid of it.

I'll be breaking the car and its my first time that I'm doing this... I wanted to know what things to remove when breaking the car.

I've made quite a list already but I'll definitely have missed something so perhaps you guys can tell me if I've missed anything

3. Door cards
4. Headlights front
5. Headlamps back
6. Speedometer
7. Centre console
8. Ashtray - both
9. Clock centre console
10. Gear knob
11. Gear gaiter
12. Interior Mats
13. Tools from back
14. Handbook
15. Hazard light switch
16. Alarm unit
17. Spare tyre
18. Carpet from boot.
19. Washer jet nozzles
20. Rear bmw badge
21. Airbag
22. Wing mirrors
23. Window regulators
24. Windows
25. Numberplate holder
26. Fog lamps
27. Kidney grills
28. Mud flaps
29. Door speakers
30. Door mirror control switch
31. Door handle cap
32. Rear speakers
33. Sun visor
34. Interior mirror
35. Seat belts

I'd love to remove the alloys but I don't know how we'd get the car to the scrap yard after...

Don't remove anything until it's sold.

People will want bits as and when so not worth storing parts

Currently got 5 cars outside the house, it's only a matter of time before the neighbors get p***** off.

1 x yaris
1 x e36
2 x z3

I find it absurd how much money the parts can fetch - like the interior pieces etc. The rear tool kit for instance - easily fetches £35?

The car is way too broke to be sold so it needs to be scrapped soon and as I don't have the space to store it, I need to remove the bits from it ASAP.

If circumstances were different then I would definitely keep the car and break it over a period of time when the parts are sold.

Keep the Z3s and scrap the rest!

@DavidM I'll have to get rid of the 2nd Zed soon and buy a decent family car with the monies earned lol.

The E36 has a lot of parts that fit in the Zed though so I'll be keeping a handful of parts for myself.

If you want to keep the alloys mate, speak to whoever will collect it and tell them you want to collect the alloys from them once they offload the car. They can either say OK or not.
