The link doesn't take you to anything Z3 related though… Also, I have not seen any Z related stuff in the monthly magazine either, so I take this is just a token effort.

The photo was taken at the recent Sommerfest - Oulton Park where those two Z3s were positioned outside the Hub which was the location for the BMWCC Hospitality set up. They did attract a lot of attention and people taking photos etc.
The link is to a general news letter page.

In the latest Straight Six magazine there is the Z3 Register News on page 80 written up by Richard Rixham, he puts something in every month. He mentions they are always looking out for articles or features on cars that he can include in the Register write up. My car has been featured in the Z3 section in the past.
Also the magazine editor would always like an article on any particular model. There isn’t always a Z3 feature in the magazine unless someone contributes an article.

One of the cars belongs to Helen Stanley, who presents motoring shows on Quest TV ~ she was guest of honour at the Sommerfest show

On the link you followed to the club website, if you look under series/z-series you can find out the club's Z Register

Also have a look under the Regions to see if there are any BMW meets local to you ;)

Thanks. That’s fair enough, but there’s nothing obviously Z related. I might be expecting too much, but for my Spitfire there’s definitely a dedicated Spitfire section. Anyway, I just need to look further.

I think the place for Z content is mostly here. I have found that a lot of BMW enthusiasts don’t rate Z3’s very highly. Even at the recent event at Denbies, I saw several groups of people laughing off the assembled Z3’s as if they didn’t belong. Had the same type of reaction from other car enthusiasts at other venues as well.

I represent the Eastern region for BMWCC. Zeds always prominent at our shows and very well received by the public in general. Yes their has been a reduction in Z3's from when i first got mine but most owners i knew with Z3's now have Z4's and still attend many shows. Straight six depends largely on members input, Richard Rixham Z3 register puts calls out monthly for input invariably posting details about his own Z3 as no other members articles forthcoming. Will be Z's on parade at the Doncaster Show Saturday 8th July

I think your right about this forum.being dedicated to the z family it offers a massive amount of tech help and has plenty of weekend runs that are available.
The z register part of the straight 6 mag often have photos of meets.(Yorkshire pudding run) earlier this year had members from zroadster and bmw attending.🙂🙂

Yeah, I suppose that is another issue: mine is a lowly 4 cylinders. ;)

I don't think bm club or this forum differentiates.z3 is a z3.
4cyl's are reputed to be a better balanced drive..
Good choice👍🙂
Yes, I wasn't talking about this forum, but the "official" BMWCC Magazine.

Anyway, I am enjoying my car more and more. Really like it in the twisty roads...
