I was on the lookout for a car stereo that matched the interior colours of the car and the only ones that I came across that looked okay were either the original BMW CD Radio or the continental radio
Came across one of the original BMW CD Players for not too much money on eBay - around £20 (Some of them do go for silly money)
Unfortunately it didn't come with a code that is required upon first installation or after disconnecting the battery... I did suspect that there would be something wrong with it as it was too cheap to be fully working!
Found a tool online that looks to have been developed in over a decade ago, it did come with some malware but was able to use it on a virtual machine where it worked absolutely flawlessly and gave me the radio code.
Very happy with how it looks in the zed!
Now, if only it had bluetooth, aux and DAB.
